What Are the Advantages of Cutting Walls with Arix Blades?
"Arix wall cutting blade has been proven to increase the life of diamond tools by 50-80%, while cutting speed is twice the industry standard."
In October 2010, Great Cut core was entrusted by a large bank to cut the wall embedded in the basement to make room for the new generator installed in its Hamburg headquarters. After that, the company's professional concrete core drill and wall saw experts used the 800 mm Arix blade provided by Diamond products.
Mike Nel, owner of Great Cut core, pointed out that Arix wall saw blade is the only product that can meet the requirements of cutting high-strength basement wall. "As we grow older, the embedded walls become harder and harder to penetrate," he explained. "The industry standard blade cannot meet this serious challenge because it places the cutting machine under extreme pressure and wears out before the wall is completely cut. However, the Arix blade can cut the concrete quickly and effectively in a few days."
Nel noticed that the Arix blade was mounted on a 15 kilowatt wall saw. "Despite the challenges posed by the reinforcement, the Arix blade provides consistency throughout the cutting process. In addition, the wall saw can operate at lower pressures, which greatly reduces maintenance."
Gray pointed out that this is due to the alignment of diamonds in different rows on the blade, which ensures that the workload carried by each diamond is exactly the same. "This unique design ultimately extends the life of the tool and allows faster and more accurate cutting, making it an ideal solution for construction projects where reinforced concrete must be cut to size."
In another successful application, the industrial cutting and coring company Core Connection recently used 800 mm Arix blades to cut concrete columns in the Rosebank Mall upgrade project in December 2010. John van Zyl, owner of Core Connections, pointed out that the company spent six months on projects using industry standard blades, which could not meet the demand.
He explained: "The Arix wall saw blade operates much faster and has a longer life than the industry standard wall saw blade, which enables Core Connection to undertake this challenging project. Otherwise, it is almost impossible.".
Van Zyl pointed out that when using industry standard diamond saw blade to cut reinforced concrete, the cutting machine was placed under extreme pressure exceeding 200 bar. He explained: "Operating under such high pressure, the machine has a great risk of failure, which may lead to maintenance and repair costs of more than 20000 rand.". "When using Arix blades, the machine runs between 120 and 150 bar, which greatly improves its life. In addition, the risk of unplanned downtime due to machine failure is greatly reduced."
Core Connection has been operating since 1999 and currently employs 22 employees. Van Zyl pointed out that the company has obtained a six-year wall cutting contract for Medupi Power Station in Limpopo Province. "The contract will be challenging because we need to cut 3.4 meters of concrete, which contains 40 mm of steel. Arix blades will be the first choice for the entire project."
Our company's Arix wall saw blade and drill bit, the customer also has very good feedback and video. The sharpness is very good. The customer is very satisfied. The following pictures and videos of customer feedback can be shown.
