How to Use a Core Drill Bit?

Drilling operation:

• Feed speed: The feed speed is generally based on experience. In terms of numerical value, it is generally 0.08-0.12mm/revolution, or 0.6-1.0mm/second. Feed speed is a key factor in drilling. Different feed amounts can form different iron chips, and different iron chips will change the chip removal performance.

• Positioning: Chisel a certain point in the center of the location where the hole needs to be drilled or draw a "cross" line with an alloy needle to ensure the accuracy of the drilling position.

• Start drilling: Adjust the appropriate speed, make sure the bottom of the magnetic base of the drill is clean before starting the machine, turn on the magnetic base switch first and then turn on the motor switch, turn on the coolant switch while the motor is running, and when the drill bit contacts the steel plate, feed slowly first, drill about 1-2mm, and then feed at normal speed.

• End of drilling: Turn off the motor and wait for the spindle to stop rotating, use an iron hook to remove the iron chips wrapped around the drill body, and then continue the operation.
